We were only able to have two scheduled races this year due to the time it has taken for members to get their planes ready. However, there were many heat races ran between pilots when two or more appeared at the field with their AT-6 on regular fly days. We expect more planes to be ready  for next year and races to be scheduled once a month. Race points will be carried throught next season and totaled at the end.
AT-6 Pylon Racing
Our racing was very successful with one midair collision between Chris White and Joe Pinson when Chris dipped his wing to take Joe out as Joe was passing Chris out of turn 2 and  Steve Jennings flew into a tree. Witnesses say that Joe Pinson moved the pylon to brake Steve's concentration during his second race. No pictures have been found to prove this theory but it is on record.
